SOUTH EUCLID, Ohio -- Notre Dame will close out their 2008 calendar year with three games between Christmas and New Year's Days. NDC traveled downtown to take on Cleveland State in an exhibition game on Saturday. The Vikings routed the Falcons, 91-40.  Freshman #Eric Dummermuth# led the Blue & White, with a 14-point, seven-rebound afternoon.

The Falcons will continue their holiday week by hosting a two-day tournament, the NDC Holiday Classic, on Dec. 29-30.

Thus far in the month of December, Notre Dame owns a 3-4 record. The Falcons are 6-10 in the last 16 December tilts. … After the first of the year, NDC will get into their American Mideast Conference (AMC) slate. 13 of their final 14 regular season games will be AMC affairs. The first of those conference games is scheduled for Jan. 3, at Roberts Wesleyan (N.Y.).
