BOWLING GREEN, Ohio -- Senior speedster #Nick Glavac# broke his own 8K record, as he paced the men's team to a 13th-place finish at the Falcon Invitational, hosted by Bowling Green State University on Saturday. (

Glavac ran a time of 25:54.4 in cool, windy conditions over the course. That time broke his own 8K record (26:00.0) from the same event a year ago. #Ross Lenehan# finished just behind Glavac, with a time of 26:00.3. They each placed in the Top-40 of a field that included mostly runners from NCAA-I schools.
The Falcon women were led by #Kristin Karn#; she ran a 6K time of 24:08.5 to finish 69th in a field of 182 runners.
Overall, Notre Dame's men's and women's teams placed 13th and 15th, respectively, in a field of 15 teams in each competition. Kent State won the men's invitational, while the host Bowling Green Falcons won the women's crown.
NDC will be in action again on Saturday, Oct. 24, when they compete in Canton, Ohio, at an event hosted by Malone University.
