SOUTH EUCLID, Ohio -- Notre Dame Football announced today that Darius Douglas has signed an NAIA Letter of Intent to continue his football career with the Falcons.
Douglas comes to College Road from Columbus, Ohio, where he was a standout defensive tackle for Bishop Watterson High School and Head Coach Dan Bjelac. Douglas was a three-year letterman for the Eagles; he also lettered one year in basketball.
“Darius will be a welcome addition to our defensive front,” said Notre Dame Head Coach
Adam Howard.
Douglas was named Second Team All-Columbus Catholic League as a senior. For his career, Douglas totaled 100 tackles and 21 sacks.
The son of Jacqueline Stokes plans on beginning classes at Notre Dame in the fall and majoring in sports medicine.
