Stevenson signs with NDC

Quarterback looks to make impact for first-year program

SOUTH EUCLID, Ohio -- Notre Dame Football announced today that Travis Stevenson has signed an NAIA Letter of Intent to continue his football career with the Falcons.

Stevenson comes to College Road from Canal Winchester, Ohio, where he was a standout safety for Canal Winchester High School and Head Coach Phil Mauro. Stevenson was a three-year letterman for the Indians in football; he also lettered four times in track & field.

“We are very excited to see what Travis can do on the field at the next level,” said Notre Dame Head Coach Adam Howard.

Stevenson was a Second Team All-Mid-State League and All-District performer as a senior (2008). Stevenson was also named Honorable Mention All-League and All-District as a junior (2007). 

The son of Tim and Denise Stevenson plans on beginning classes at Notre Dame in the fall and majoring in education. 

The development of a Football program at Notre Dame College was announced on Nov. 25. With their development of a team, Notre Dame becomes the only scholarship football team in the metropolitan Cleveland area.
