South Euclid, Ohio -- Notre Dame Softball has released its
2010 schedule. The defending American Mideast Conference Champs will begin their season down south on Feb. 27 and play in a pair of tournaments in both Georgia and Alabama.
The Falcons will play their first contest of the season against Georgetown (Ky.) as part of a split doubleheader on Feb. 27 in Savannah, Ga. The Falcons are slated to participate in 17 games down south before their home opener on Mar. 20, with a scheduled twin bill against Findlay.
The Blue& White will begin their quest for a second straight AMC crown as they begin conference play on Mar. 27 at home with a doubleheader against Cedarville. Last year, the Falcons went 34-11 overall and posted an incredible 18-2 mark in conference play en route to winning the league and advancing to the 2009 NAIA National Championship Tournament.
NDC will play 18 games on College Road this season, a place they called home sweet home a year ago when they went 14-2.
The Falcons' schedule includes 47 regular season games, running from Feb. 27 to May 1. NDC will play 18 AMC games, with 10 of those scheduled to be played at Campus Field.
