Falcon women go 2-0 in Oberlin
Women go 2-0 for the second week in a row
OBERLIN, Ohio -- Notre Dame competed in a meet at Oberlin on Saturday. The Falcon women went 2-0 for a second straight week, while the men’s team went 0-2. (Results)

Notre Dame earned a combined 15 medals (men seven, women eight) in the meet. 

Greg Pristov shined once again for the men.  The Madison, Ohio, native came away with two golds and a silver.  Pristov finished first in both the 500-METER FREESTYLE and 200-METER FLY, while coming in second in the 100-METER FLY event.  

Sophomore Cameron McRAE walked away with a pair of medals, as he finished second in both the 50-METER and 100-METER FREESTYLE events.  

For the women, sophomore Emily Whittington came away with three silvers on the afternoon.  The Pickerington, Ohio, native finished second in the 200-METER BREASTROKE, 100-METER BACKSTROKE and the 200-METER BACKSTROKE.  

Standing out for the women as well this week was newcomer Cindy Gangloff.  Gangloff, a transfer from the University of Akron, won the 100-METER BACKSTROKE event in 1:13.09 and qualified for the national championships.  

The Falcons will be back in action on Friday, Jan. 29, in Ada, Ohio at 6 p.m.  NDC will be at home for their final home meet of the season next Saturday, Jan. 30, for their Senior Meet at 1 pm.
