In a split-dual meet against Malone and Ursuline, the program will be looking to raise funds to benefit the Children's Miracle Network at Rainbow Babies & Children's Hospital. The Falcon swimmers and divers are determined to raise $1,500 to support the cause.
The Children's Miracle Network is a nonprofit organization which has set out to generate funds and raise awareness through hospital partnership. All donations raised by Falcon Swimming & Diving will be sent directly to the Rainbow Babies & Children's Hospital located in Cleveland, Ohio. Through the Children's Miracle Network, funding is put towards payments of medical care, as well as research and education which help to improve the lives of more than 17 million children every year.
In efforts to fundraise, Falcon swimmers and divers are selling CMN Balloon Icons and posting them on Keller Center walls. The cost of each balloon icon is $1.
“We are reaching out to everyone in the NDC community to help support this cause,” said NDC Head Coach #Mike Gallagher#. “Every dollar donation will bring a miracle to the life of children and hope into the eyes of their family.”
