Notre Dame cleans house in final home meet
Falcon men and women sweep, and raise money for a great cause
SOUTH EUCLID, Ohio--In their final home meet of the season, the Notre Dame men’s and women’s swim teams came away with victories in Saturday’s split-dual meet, and raised over $2,000 for the Children’s Miracle Network. (Results)

The men (4-8) defeated Malone 213-120. The women (7-5) finished first in their dual meet with a score of 203, defeating Malone and Ursuline who scored 91 and 73 respectively.

Prior to the meet, Falcon swimmers vowed to raise $1,500 for the Children’s Miracle Network, by selling CMN balloons for $1. The Falcons smashed their goal and raised $2,097.44 for CMN, which was sent directly to Rainbows Babies and Children’s Hospital, located in Cleveland, Ohio. Through the Children’s Miracle Network, funding is put towards payments of medical care, as well as research and education which help to improve the lives of more than 17 million children every year.

The Falcons will be back in action on Friday, Feb. 19, at the Appalachian Conference Championships in Huntington, W.Va.
