NOTING NDC'S 63-14 LOSS ON SATURDAY ...
Notre Dame is now 4-9 all-time at home … 3-8 in the month of September … 4-11 in games coming off a loss … 6-13 in day games … 1-3 against teams from Michigan.
Notre Dame was a minus-4 in turnover margin. The Falcons were a plus-6 in their Aug. 30 victory over Mercyhurst (Pa.); they have been on the minus side of the ledger in each of their three successive losses. … For the season, the Blue & White are now a minus-4.
NOTING THE OFFENSE …
NDC was held to a season-low in total yardage on Saturday. The offense produced just 190 total yards (86 rushing, 104 passing).
Running back
Pedro Powell was held to 30 yards rushing on nine carries. The nation's leading rusher (NCAA-II) has rushed for just 94 yards over the last two weeks.
The Falcon offense was held to negative yardage in the third quarter, a frame that saw NDC outscored, 28-0. … In its first drive of the fourth, Notre Dame marched 64 yards downfield culminating with a 4-yard TD dash by backup quarterback
James Flowers.
The offense had 12 drives on Saturday. Hillsdale held NDC under 25 yards in nine of those drives.
H-back
Jack Foy led Notre Dame in receiving, with four catches for 34 yards. Foy also ran the ball nine times for a hard-earned 28 yards.
Tight end
Ray J. Brown and wide receiver
Mikhail Morgan each had three catches in the game. Brown has hauled in eight catches over the last two weeks.
NOTING THE DEFENSE …
Notre Dame has now yielded 237 points over its four games this season.
Hillsdale went 10-of-14 on third-down conversions. In four games this season, Falcon foes have converted 63 percent (35-of-56) of their third-down attempts.
Junior safety
Josh Remark recorded a personal-best 12 tackles in the contest. Remark has made 22 stops over NDC's last two games. He and strong safety
Bo Grunder each tallied 12 tackles to lead the NDC defense in stops.
Freshman safety
Carthel Garth made a career-high eight tackles. Garth started the game, marking his first career start.
Freshman defensive tackle
Skyler Parks made five tackles in the contest including 1-1/2 tackles for losses.
Cornerback
Spencer Krebs contributed 11 tackles and a pass break-up.
NOTING THE SPECIAL TEAMS …
NDC averaged 32.7 yards per punt on three kicks. Those three Falcon punts were the only punts of the game.
NOTING HC …
The victory was the 600th in the history of the Hillsdale program, which was instituted in 1891. The Chargers have an all-time record of 600-389-46 (.602).
Saturday's game marked the first time since 1968 that the Chargers have scored over 60 points in a game.
Hillsdale scored three defensive touchdowns in the game, all on pick-six returns. Before Saturday's tilt in Lyndhurst, HC hadn't had an interception returned for a TD since Sept. 6, 2003.

Notre Dame will continue GLIAC play next week: the Falcons are slated to travel to Findlay, Ohio, to take on the Oilers of Findlay University (12 p.m. kickoff). For the Falcons, the NDC-UF game will mark the first of seven straight intra-divisional match-up against GLIAC South teams.
