The Notre Dame Falcon football team worked in unison with the rest of the Notre Dame Falcon community to raise over 1,500 bottles of water to send to those in need in Flint, Mich., after its drinking water had a series of problems that culminated with lead contamination, creating a serious public health danger.
At the forefront of the process were senior
BJ Baldwin and junior Da'Quian Williams. Baldwin, a wide receiver from Michigan, worked with Williams, April Kennedy and the rest of the Falcon community to come together to send water back to his home state.
They were able to do all of this in just two weeks, with the help of many. "It was a great opportunity and we feel like we received all the help that we could get," said Baldwin.
