While no Falcon set any records, the men jumped two spots in 2008, to a sixth place finish of 13 squads. The NDC women finished ninth out of 14 AMC schools.

Falcons fly in BGSU invite

BOWLING GREEN, Ohio – Maybe it was the name "Falcon Invitational" that made Notre Dame Cross Country feel at home Saturday in the event hosted by Bowling Green State University. Rain-soaked trails and heavy humidity made the conditions difficult for the contestants of the 11 schools in the competition. However, Ross Lenehan (Fr./Austintown, OH) and Allie Rendlesham (Sr./Richmond Heights, OH) fought the elements to finish in second and fifth place, respectively. They led the charge as both the NDC Men’s and Women’s teams were able to post Top-5 performances, with the men finishing in third place, and the women finishing in fifth place.

Back on the course

HUNTING VALLEY, Ohio -- Notre Dame Cross Country opened their season Saturday, competing in the Eighth Annual Bill Sudeck Classic hosted by Case Western Reserve.
