NDC VOLLEYBALL - HISTORY


NDC Volleyball was instituted in 1970 but did not compete in 1978, 1980-87 and 1994. In 1998, the program joined the American Mideast Conference (AMC),  In 2002, the AMC split into two divisions- the AMC North and AMC South, with NDC moving into the North Division where it remained until 2008 when the conference merged the two divisions. The Falcons program earned its best-ever record in (21-14) in 2007, including a 12-2 mark in the AMC North. In 2007, NDC clinched its first volleyball division championship. Since the program's inception, 12 head coaches have been at the helm of NDC Volleyball.

AFFILIATIONS
Notre Dame earned NCAA-II membership in the summer of 2012. After competing as an NCAA-II Independent in 2012, the Falcons joined the Mountain East Conference in 2013-14.
